Sarah (Ziying) Xue is a designer and artist from Shanghai, China. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication Design from Jianqiao University and has experience interning with the User Experience Team at AstraZeneca. Driven by a desire to go beyond design as decoration, she joined MFA DSI to explore how design can advance social equality and inclusiveness.

Outside her academic and professional work, Sarah is also an artist who creates striking black-and-white illustrations centered on women, aiming to celebrate and promote women’s independence.
