Jinheng Lu

Jinheng Lu is a design practitioner from China, who excels at using photography as a catalyst to infuse fluidity into his designs. He previously served as a design assistant at the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, where he helped develop a course on “Commedia dell’Arte” physical theater. There, he also collaborated with digital avatars to form a blues-jazz band and exhibited an interactive installation based on XR virtual production technology.

Currently, Lu leverages design to propose feasible solutions for China’s social development and community governance challenges. Importantly, his work addresses the modern dilemmas of the “atomized society” and the “disappearance of the proximate.”
