Rosie Martinez is a multi-media artist with a commitment to people-centered design. Her work celebrates culture and community, reflecting a deep belief in social justice and the power of shared stories. At the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Rosie earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. There, she worked with the university’s cultural and resource centers to help support the needs of underrepresented student communities, combining the arts with activism.

As a Mexican American woman, she approaches design with a representational lens, a careful attention to detail, and a dedication to uplifting minority voices.
