Liz Roffey

Liz Roffey is a newly minted North Carolina State University alumna with a BA in Graphic Design and a love for problem-solving. She has a passion for people and a desire to be involved in her community and believes that life needn’t be a choice between design, business, and the greater good of society. She came to DSI to sharpen her knowledge in all three as she works to spark social change.

After graduating from DSI, Liz carried the knowledge she gained from her thesis work into her career when she moved to the Bay Area. She is currently a Senior Product Designer at Khan Academy in Mountain View, California, where she creates tools for teachers that help facilitate differentiated learning in a classroom environment. Prior to Khan Academy, she worked at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative on the Education team, designing for both the parent and teacher experiences within the Summit Learning Program.
