Jennifer Emmons is from Mexico City and has a BA in Advertising from the Art Institute of San Diego. She also has a teaching degree and worked with preschool kids for two years. In addition to her time in Mexico City and San Diego, Jennifer lived for a year in Switzerland. She came to DSI because she believes that programs like it are the future and because she wants to participate in making positive change in the world.

Since earning her MFA from DSI, Jennifer has returned to Mexico City and is the owner of a popular second hand store. At her shop, people can buy used clothing or exchange their clothes that are in excellent condition for others. She is currently in the process of opening a second location.
