Aditi Kapre is from Pune, India. She recently graduated from the MIT Institute of Design, Pune, as a communication designer. India is a quickly developing country, and Aditi hopes to to gain the tools and insight to use design as a way of social intervention. She is interested in learning about the different touch points of interaction in a system — people, technology and the environment. Through DSI, Aditi hopes to be able to help make design (and the world) more inclusive and sensitive.
Unfair is aimed towards reimagining a more equitable future state of mainstream Indian media, by building radical inclusivity to shift the age old colourist narrative that paints fair skin as superior and more desirable to dark skin.
