AAAAH Weekend 2025 Connects Community with Care
“We believe visibility is empowerment and connection is transformation.” — AAAAH Culture
September 27, AAAAH Culture led their “Borrowed Edge” Asian Art & Culture Festival in Downtown Manhattan. AAAAH Culture was born out of recognizing a need to empower, connect, and platform Asian creators in NYC. Emerging Asian creators experience systemic underrepresentation and face critical market entry barriers, AAAAH Culture seeks to fight these systems of oppression and build a world where Asian creators are “seen, supported, and valued” through “high-impact public platforms.”
This September, AAAAH’s Asian Art & Culture Festival featured a market with 15+ Asian creative brands, two career-centered panels, and a Chinese book exchange.
Founded by MFA Design for Social Innovation alum Mouhui Sun & Effy Tam (MFA DSI ’23), AAAAH Culture incubated at MFA Design for Social Innovation in the Fast Track honors program, which centers prototyping for the real world.
