Sara Catalán

Sara Catalán is from Barcelona and studied interior design and ephemeral architecture at the IED there. She has worked on the renovations of hotels, restaurants, and homes and on the design of ephemeral structures for both indoor and outdoor events, including sports and retail exhibitions, concerts, and festival food stands. She’s also interested in art exhibitions and has worked for Txemy, a contemporary urban artist, helping realize installations and organizing exhibitions. She came to DSI to learn to use design more strategically to make a positive impact on society and the environment.
