Edwin Mauricio Olivera Anaya

Edwin Mauricio, is a Bolivian-American UX/UI Designer and sociologist who graduated from the University of Memphis with numerous accolades, including the prestigious AIGA World Studio Scholarship. His professional experience spans various sectors, from the private to the public sector, encompassing design firms, software development companies, and ad agencies (International Paper, Miller Lite, Comcast Business, Spectrum Enterprise, RCN, Millicom/Tigo, and Red Bull, among others.)

With his unique blend of sociology and digital design, Edwin has worked with organizations like Plan International, IPAS, German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, as well as several smaller organizations dedicated to driving social change, advocating for women’s rights, indigenous rights, children’s safety, and much more. In 2015, he co-founded “FAMELI,” the first group in Bolivia for LGBTQI+ parents, friends, and allies, alongside his mother.
