Gabe Schuster

Gabriel Schuster is an urban geographer and freelance cartographer interested in producing more just cities through informed research design. His work applies critical social theory to contemporary urban problems through participatory research, qualitative practice, and community-driven inquiry. Gabriel has worked with the CUNY Institute for Sustainable Cities, the Corporation for Supportive Housing, and the CUNY Advanced Research Collaborative. His current research includes mapping credit union lending behavior, analyzing community resistance to mass redevelopment projects, and simulating the relationship between climate change and population growth.
