Ready to get started with your learning now? You’ve got some options:
The SVA Continuing Education (CE) department is a long-time staple for creatives in NYC. Because these classes are open to the public and don’t require admission to SVA, they are a great way to network with working professionals, learn skills we might not cover as in-depth at DSI and gain access to different facilities! Did we mention SVA students can take 1 class a semester for free?
Through SVA, students also have access to LinkedIn Learning courses. Access LinkedIn Learning via SVA’s MyID portal for access to hundreds of online classes.
Don’t know where to start? Here are some selections made with DSI-ers in mind:
For the non-designers and career pivoters: Choose Digital Design Basics + Principles of Visual Language
For the storytellers: Choose Visual Narratives: Many Ways to tell a Story + Storytelling for Data + Design
Diving deep into a new platform? Choose Adobe Premiere Pro + Illustrator: Basic
