Dorothy Dai was born and raised in Huzhou City in the Zhejiang Province of China, and graduated in 2014 from Birmingham City University in UK with a Bachelor of Arts in Jewellery and Silversmithing. After graduation, she lived in Shanghai for more than three years and stared a career as graphic designer, product designer, exhibition holder and market assistant. She’s also explored more than 20 countries in Europe and Asia. This diverse work and travel experience encouraged her to move to NYC and study at DSI, where she is defining herself and finding what she wants to do next.
