Jiahua (Jaha) Zhang is a digital media artist from Xi’an, China, holding a BFA in Digital Media Art from the Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts (2026). Her practice spans 3D modeling, interactive installations, and conceptual art – translating complex social phenomena into tangible forms. Driven by a critical inquiry into technological disruption, she spent her final year researching AIGC-assisted technologies and witnessing the widespread anxiety over labor displacement.

Recognizing that art must move beyond personal expression to serve the public, Jaha aims to use MFA DSI to transform digital creation into tangible social impact. She believes that while artistic style may be personal, art must ultimately respond to the most pressing needs of our time.
