Miya Osaki, chair of MFA Design for Social Innovation, will be in person to meet you at National Portfolio Review Day, Sun, October 15, (12 – 4 pm EST). We are curious to hear your questions about the health, care, and well-being of our communities and systems – and your interest in social design.

This is an in-person event that is free and open to the public. On the day of the event, guests should line up for a portfolio review with their first program of choice. Reviews are only available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

WHAT TO PREPARE: The SVA portfolio review is a great opportunity to receive helpful feedback on your work before you submit your official portfolio submission with your graduate application. Please take digital photos of any physical pieces and gather 10-15 images into a multipage PDF in preparation for the event. We recommend showing us recent work or pieces that you feel best represent your technical and creative ability.

Even if you don’t feel like you have a full portfolio of work to show, you can still meet to ask questions and get info on MFA Design for Social Innovation and SVA.
