PEER UP For Cancer

When people are diagnosed with cancer, and when they are undergoing treatment, it’s often a challenge for them to communicate openly about what they’re feeling and what they need. PEER UP for Cancer helps young adult cancer patients easily communicate their needs and feelings with friends and makes it easier for them to offer help.

Wen Tang

Wen Tang was born and raised in Beijing, China and graduated from South China University of Technology with a degree in Industrial Design. While studying industrial design, she became interested in experience and service design as a means to solving humans’ problems in an ingenious and effective way. She is passionate about health, poverty, and education utilizing design opportunities to solve social problems.

Since graduating from DSI, Wen Tang has worked for UNDP and volunteered for hospice care at VNSNY. She is currently working as a UX designer at IBM Design Studio in Beijing, China.
