About Somi Kim

Somi Kim is a design strategist who aligns business goals and human values. Most recently she was Senior Director, Healthcare and Enterprise Solutions at Johnson & Johnson, where she championed design solutions with real world impact for 15 years across sectors, including Consumer Health, Pharmaceuticals, Global Public Health and Medical Devices. Prior to Johnson & Johnson, she held pivotal leadership roles at Ogilvy’s Brand Integration Group (BIG) and the award-winning design consultancy, ReVerb, both in Los Angeles. Her passion for systemic change fuels her engagement in larger conversations about cultural relevance and technology with purpose.

Somi received an MFA from CalArts and an AB from Harvard College. She is an Aspen Institute First Movers Fellow and lives in NJ with her husband, son and two dogs.
