About The Lecture
Henry Obispo is a Social-Entrepreneur, creating a sustainable revolution around food and agricultural-technology. He focuses on equitable solutions for the realities of food deserts and food apartheid in urban environments. His vision is to create new sustainable ecosystems that close gaps that have existed for generations, develop innovative approaches to tending and caring for the planet and its people, and bring forth solutions to the pertinent existential problems of our time.
He is the founder of ReBORN FARMS: an agricultural technology-based urban farm in the heart of the South Bronx. ReBORN FARMS focuses on rebuilding food systems to create access and equity for populations hyper-locally. The mission of ReBORN FARMS is to provide the opportunity for those in the community to empower themselves, gaining sovereignty through growing food, employment, and education for an inclusive, sustainable, eco-forward reality for them and for the planet.
