About Kimberly Tate

Kimberly Tate is a multidisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, with expertise in architecture, healing arts, and community organizing. Her work focuses on creating a space for healing and promoting belonging, through various forms of art and community practices. She has presented her work at international venues and collaborated with several artists. She is the Spring 2023 MFA DSI Designer in Residence and is bringing experimentation to DSI with her “Embodied Design Lab”.
