As of last week, Ivan is now working at EloGroup, a consultancy transforming organizations in both the private and public sector by helping them grow sustainably. Ivan’s principle focus will center on developing more innovative approaches for the Brazilian government within the GovLab initiative.

Over the next few weeks, we will be highlighting some of the many outstanding projects by 2016 Alumni Scholarship Award winners. First up is MFA Design for Social Innovation student Ivan Boscariol on his Boiling Down program, which aims to reduce bullying and challenge gender norms through the power of cooking.
We would like to congratulate our very own DSI recipients of the SVA Alumni Scholarship Award Fund award, Lauren Gardner, Caroline McAndrews, and Ivan Boscariol! This year, 67 students were chosen from a pool of over 300 applicants, and were awarded scholarships worth more than $80,000 for their final year at SVA to aid in the completion of final thesis/portfolio projects.
Ivan Boscariol is a service designer and researcher from Piracicaba, Brazil. He’s a constant learner who believes that governments must evolve before larger political change can occur.
