On Feb. 28 during the DSI Global Guest Lecture class, three alumni came back to talk about what they do, and how what they learned at DSI has made them uniquely qualified to help lead the U.S. Government toward more human-centered and effective design. Critical thinking, leadership skills, the ability to synthesize data into disruptive insights are at the heart of what DSI students learn, and what the world of business, government and social organizations need. We invite you to view the discussion. Our speakers included Laura Kadamus, ’15, Digital Service Expert at the United States Digital Service USDS, a startup at the White House that uses design and technology to deliver Americans better services; Meghan Lazier, ’15, Product Designer (UX/UI/PM) at the Federal Reserve Board, the central banking system for the U.S.; and Gina Kim, Digital Service Expert at the USDS, specifically focusing on the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
