Joey Lee

Joey Lee is an interaction designer who has been involved in academic and commercial research projects exploring technology, geography, data and visualization for institutions ranging from MIT and The University of British Columbia to Daimler-Mercedes Benz and the World Bank. He was previously a fellow at the Mozilla Science Lab and is actively involved in open-source, science and scholarship initiatives. Joey has exhibited his work internationally at venues like the Japan Media Arts Festival and Ars Electronica, and has authored publications related to generative design and urban climate research. His research interests generally lead him to develop projects that critically explore the implications of new and emerging technologies and services, particularly those that are driven by and produce data about people and places.
