Join a unique mix of experts, startups and students of Social Innovation for an interactive evening meant to bridge theory and practice in this field. First, Cheryl Heller will lecture on the emergence and urgency of the discipline. Then a panel of entrepreneurs from CSI, grad students from DSI, and Avenues upper school students will address themes from Cheryl’s lecture and answer questions. Finally audience members will choose a project or idea for deeper discussion during breakout sessions. Then we’ll all share. We hope this mixed stakeholder approach will both highlight the relevance and dynamism of social innovation and encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to learn more!
Monday April 13, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (EST)
Black Box Theater @ Avenues School
259 10th Avenue
