About DSI

#WhyDSI: Because you want a career designing good government.

From Fashion Designer to U.S. Government Digital Service Leader. Laura Kadamus has a background in high fashion: She interned for Marc Jacobs and Proenza Schouler, then worked as an Assistant Designer for Holmes & Yang. After graduating from DSI, Laura switched career paths: She now works for the U.S. Digital Service, a startup at the White House that uses design and technology to deliver Americans better services. Her job allows her to impact people, from immigrants to FEMA recipients, as she digitizes important documents and forms. If you’re adaptable, people-oriented and ready for a big career change, you belong here. Learn to be a design leader, see what a degree in social design can do for you.
