Alum Kara Isabella Awarded the Neighborhood 360° Fellowship

Congratulations to recent graduate Kara Isabella (2016) for joining the inaugural cohort of the Neighborhood 360° Fellows program, which pairs community organizers and planners with New York City community-based development organizations (CBDOs), to facilitate increased collaboration between local stakeholders around impactful economic development initiatives and help build CBDO capacity.

Kara will be working with the Two Bridges Neighborhood Council on the Lower East Side, creating a commercial district needs assessment for the South Street East River Community Development Corporation’s service area. She will also conduct outreach to small businesses and residents impacted by Hurricane Sandy to encourage participation in the RISE resilient communication technologies project and the NeighborFood healthy food financing.
