Prospective students often ask what an MFA in Design for Social Innovation is worth. We’re delighted to provide four more examples of students and alums who are driving positive change in the world through great jobs.
From the Class of ’15, Akshata Malhotra has joined the Peterson Center on Healthcare as an Analyst.
As Digital Service Expert at USDS Department of Veterans Affairs, Gina Kim is working to simplify access and use of the VA’s online services for veterans and their families.
Meanwhile, current DSI student Bruno Silva (Class of 2016) has just been appointed as Senior Management Advisor / Interaction Design at the Arnhold Institute for Global Health.
Also from the Class of ’15, Meryl Natow, who just made the Forbes 30 under 30 list, is heading up design at Amino (aminoapps.com).
Social innovation design has application wherever innovation is needed – in business, government, and mission-based organizations. DSI students graduate with experience working with clients to solve real problems, and with a powerful network of people leading social impact in businesses, governments, foundations and social organizations around the world.
Congratulations to Akshata, Gina, Bruno, and Meryl.
