On December 7th and 8th, leaders from all over the world gathered in Paris to discuss climate change, and how to target/reverse its effects. The two day summit, Earth To Paris, provided the opportunity for cross-sector, solutions-oriented engagement in climate change, and a platform for amplifying conversations across social and digital media. Through an inspiring multi-language live-streamed video, experts, advocates, and CEOs addressed impactful climate solutions.
With support from the United Nations Foundation, current DSI students: Margarita Korol, David Rojas, Yinman Guo, Carmen Lopez, and Sarah Al Kuwari participated as remote live graphic recorders. Representing the six UN languages: English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, and Chinese, each designer interpreted their own visual dialogue via social media platforms.
