Every year the the arts department of Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ), COCOA (Colegio de Comunicacion y Artes Contemporáneas), Ecuador, extends an open invitation for students to travel to NYC. This year, students spent a week visiting, museums, galleries, and schools including DSI.
Through amazing outreach by current DSI first year, Rodrigo Muñoz, the USFQ students spent the morning with DSI, learning about the growing movement of social impact design. Joined by the Vice Director, Santiago Castellanos, students with arts, architecture, fashion, and graphic design backgrounds, gathered for a NYC staple, bagels, and introductions from the DSI family. Thank you to Rodrigo for making this happen. We are excited about this new relationship with USFQ, and the continuation of DSI outreach on a global level.
