Chessa Cahill is the Assistant to the Chair for the Design for Social Innovation MFA at the School of Visual Arts. She received her BFA in Photography from Parsons New School for Design and has worked managing logistics as the Events Manager for a photography company. She is passionate about documentary photography and photojournalism, and part of her work has focused on documenting the relationship between politics and infrastructure in the New York City watershed system. Working with antique photographic technologies, such as tintypes and large format, delights her.
