Bill Gordon has a Ph.D in Zoology focused on Cellular and Molecular Biology from UC Berkeley and an MBA in Finance from Wharton. Among many other roles, Bill is an angel investor and serial entrepreneur, and the founder of Lean Launch Ventures in Westport Connecticut. He is the founder and Entrepreneur in Residence of the Stamford Innovation Center, part of “Reinventing Stamford”. Bill was awarded a Gates Foundation Grand Challenge Exploration Grant in October 2009 for work on a novel approach to making a vaccine against malaria. He also was the founding partner and CFO of Callahan Associates, a developer of broadband cable properties in 4 countries of Europe between 1996 and 2001 by which time it established a footprint of 20 million homes.
