They come from Ghana, Nigeria, Sweden, Thailand, China, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Colombia, India and across the U.S. They bring experience in architecture, filmmaking, anthropology, clinical nursing, community health, development, journalism and every form of design. They tell the stories of their direct and sometimes novel-worthy indirect paths to ending up at 136 West 21st Street in New York City; to begin their journey to become leaders of social design.
Over the course of our one and a half day boot camp, we watch them realize, with each new student’s presentation, how accomplished and exciting their new colleagues are, and how fortunate we all are to be on this path together. We look forward to watching them grow, and to learning as much from them as we teach.
