This year, DSI had a big showing at one of our favorite conferences of the year. Alum Josh Treuhaft (2014) spoke on two panels, covering his experience working in the Foresight department at international engineering firm Arup. Four other alums, spoke on a panel called “Four Big Ideas that Design for Inclusion” and highlighted experiences working on their thesis projects. Panelists were 2015 graduates Liora Yuklea, Gina Kim, Robin Newman and Akshata Malhotra. First year student Genieve Ramrattan moderated the panel.
ABWxD is created by students of RISD and Brown in Providence, Rhode Island. This year the content focused on celebrating and supporting design processes and solutions that support a society that is inclusive.
