During Internet Week NYC this past May, Mediaocean launched the Women in Technology Scholarship Fund. Through this initiative, 3 women working in STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) will be awarded a $25k scholarship to aid in their pursuit of a career in technology.
In conjunction with the initiative, Mediaocean hosted a panel for the scholarship judges to discuss and advocate for women’s growth in the technology industry. Participants included our very own DSI faculty Despina Papadopoulos, Founder of Principled Design, Shenan Reed, President of Digital North America at MEC, Ari Horie, Founder and CEO at Women’s Startup Lab, and Nicole Ellis, Managing Director at Teach for America.
